I’m very surprised myself to come back to my old blog. I just checked and the first post is dated August 13th, 2019, but that’s not correct: I had a previous blog since… I don’t ever remember this detail. It’s gone forever in the back of my mind. Anyway, not a big deal. The thing is: I’m back.

But why I’m back here? I am very much tempted at the idea of closing my social media accounts (yes, again), I’ve been ruminating on this for a while now. Now I’m using mostly and mainly Instagram for private stuff, LinkedIn yeah I post there quite a lot but everything’s easily transferable here on the blog, Twitter nada de nada. I guess I’ll delete the first and third one: I need LinkedIn in my day-to-day operations at Enel Foundation, but the other two can be thrown in the bin without too many problems.

So… now I get why I am here: to rethink how I use social media and to tailor the contents I wanna share to my inner intentions, without all the superfluous (and negative) elements that traditional channels bear with them. I will post travel diaries (’cause we’re going back to exploring the world, aren’t we?), tech reviews, random pics, political analysis, whatever I’d like to share. In English and Italian, plus French (le rêve de maîtriser la langue de Proust est toujours très fort en moi…).
